Pilates, the ultimate workout....
I call Pilates the ultimate workout because it is! As an instructor for 8 years, and an overall fitness enthusiast, I have participated in and taught various types of physical exercise, including running, interval training, yoga, weights, various stretching routines and meditation. Pilates is the only exercise, that if taught correctly, can encompass all that in one 55 minute routine! I seek no other reward during a session than teaching a client to engage their mind and body.
A typical session taught by me, would introduce a new student to the Pilates fundamentals, Introductory and then Beginner level exercises, using traditional Pilates equipment such as the reformer, the small barrel, the ladder barrel, mat work, and the Cadillac. After 1 session you will feel the difference, after six sessions you will see you're posture improve and have an all round sense of self; after twelve sessions you body will transform. Pilates ultimately becomes a life style choice!
